Hey People
This is my first post, I have been following whats been going on, I have finished the final scary section of the money diet, and have finally made the move to join the club. It feels a bit like and AA meeting so here I go "MY NAMES NICK AND MY CREDIT RATING SUCKS AND I OW £24,277". WOW I feel better already, even better as I have a GMAC morgage so I am waiting for an easy way out and the postie to pop a letter though the door saying GMAC have knocked £24,277 off my morgage. Somehow I dont think its ever gonna happen. So its the slow way for me. I am a victim of the interest hikes 18months ago, my mortgage started at 850pm went up to 1450pm hence the Credit Card useage and is down to 399pm. Only problem is I now have all this debt so I cant enjoy the savings. just making just over the minimums each month.
But I have discovered surveys!!! I have spent about 3 hours doing them and earned £5 of guilt free spending! I NOW HAVE SOCKS!!! from ebay of course using the paypal funds. All my other income is strictly budgeted for debts and bills.
Has anyone else got any income boosting tips? I have covered most areas, Ebay, Lightspeed, Valued opinions, and have just began Compition entries?

Hello and welcome to DFW! I want a smallholding too, but by the time I get one I'll probably be too old to look after the livestock!
There are other forum areas dedicated to making more money - try the 'Up Your Income' board. Have you started using cashback sites like Quidco and Cashback Kings to do your online shopping?

Hi, well I've only been here a few days and already I can put my hand on my heart and say you have definately come to the right place. You will be offered lots of advice from lots of people all in the same boat as you. The advice you get is great and just being able to talk about the problem and know you're not alone is a huge relief - I have felt better in the past couple of days than I have in months and months. You know the saying "A problem shared is a problem halved"? Well that applies to this forum. Tenfold.
Welcome, I hope it helps you feel the same way I'm feeling. The debt is still there but I'm not scared of it anymore as I know it is going to start going down ...
All the best

Hi Nick/Iwantasmallholding
Another couple of survey sites you could try are Pure Profile and Toluna. Do you have to do a DMP or anything or are you just going to save money and boost your income to tackle your debts. You could post an SOA if you want some 'frank' input from other DWFs lol.
Good luck anyway xx0 -
I have found IPSOS and Valued Opinions to provide a steady flow of surveys, and GlobalTestMarket to supply them on an almost daily basis. I don't usually qualify but I know many of the regulars make loads from GTM. Both IPSOS and GTM give you points if you are screened out of a survey, which does add up over time.
If you have a head for figures and a 'spare' £20 to £50 you can get started on Matched Betting - loads of advice on the Gambling Loopholes board. I believe you can make a couple of thousand pounds with a bit of dedication!!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
