Trying to find a loan

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. I'm a single parent on benefits and currently trying to find someone who is willing to give me a loan. Have tried HSBC as this is where I bank, however they wouldn't touch me. Has anyone been in the same situation or knows someone who has and has some advice or knows of a bank etc... which could help.

Have you thought about joining a credit union? They might be able to help. All I'd say if the high st lenders won't lend to you due to yuor circumstances then don't go to the subprime lenders who'll charge you the earth in interest no doubt.

I'm not surprised the bank won't give you a loan.

If you are on benefits, how do you expect to pay it back, with interest and on time?

If you are in receipt of income support you could apply for an interest free budgeting loan.
