kindofagilr - they are lovely shorts but a bit on the too short side for my thighs:o

Sharon - I am so glad that you like the Hulas I am praying that they don't take them off the market. Good idea about Marks and Spencer for the mac but another one to wait for the sales for. Will have a look at their site in the meantime. I was also thinking about trying Zara.

Just searching the www for the perfect white cardi...back in a bit!

This is the one DD got from Topshop. Thought she said £28 but actually £32! Bit pricey for what it is I think. It's very fine and delicate knit and if you zoom on the cuff, it's kinda ruched. Looks lovely on her, similar to but not exactly what I want.

    Will keep looking!

Hello all. I have been lurking and really enjoying this and the other associated threads. I need a white linen (or linen look) jacket that isn't too short so it covers my bum. The only one I can find is in M & S and it is dry clean only. Not very practical for white.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.

I noticed a gap in my capsule (shock horror) i perhaps need a couple of t-shirts for when it's too cold for vests, and too warm for a cardi.

I bought some from H&M a long time ago, round-necked and V-necked ones with long sleeves. They were very inexpensive, came in lovely colours and are still going strong years later. Gap are nice quality but I'd only buy in the sale as I think they're too dear. Do you have a Uniqlo near you? They're inexpensive as well

I wonder if this one will be ok? It's from the 'Tall' range so should be long enough. Better price than Top Shop, but not as nice, I don't think.

I am thinking Gap sale for a white cardi, although I do like the Top Shop one but I would want a shorter one to wear with a line skirts etc.

Actually for something so basic, its surprisingly hard to find the right one.

It's progress on the wardrobe front that I'm thinking that though, cos the 3 cream cardies I had and hated were all last-minute, rushed bad-buys!:T
