I haven't accepted it yet, it's with my bank. Tbh, I'm not sure it's a good idea because I'm already thinking it would solve a load of problems (ie. wedding gift for cousins wedding, CD etc. etc) and therein lies the issue. It would solve nothing! I have £20 to last me a week-I can do it, only need a few groceries and that's about it...as for gift, I can wait for next pay cheque...

Oh Bunny, I was going to mention to you - are you still doing an 'English' hamper? M&S have lots of traditional English-looking goodies in their window at the moment - boiled sweets in glass jars, tins of biscuits, coffee and tea etc. They are probably expensive, but it might give you some ideas, and then you could possibly find similar cheaper elsewhere.

I have written down a few things I want to put in, mainly sweets etc but I will look. They used to have M&S in Canada but not sure they do now!

    How's the hair Snaggles?

i know exactly what you mean - that's the horrible aspect of having them :(

I have just had OH on the phone saying he has purchases from Tesco on his CC and 'have I been using his card' I explained - yes. And that I tell him when I am using it. I said it was once for the monthly money he contributes and once for some of the money he has outstanding for me paying for the holiday last time and the deposit for October.

Apparently even though I tell him exactly when I use it and why, he says he 'needs to know' because the CC bill was a shock.

My response 'me telling you when I use it - and why (ie knocking owed money or his regular monthly contribution) - that is you then 'knowing' and you then need to remember!!'

Quickly followed by 'well I'm not saying you are doing anything wrong etc etc etc ' and 'how I am I supposed to remember'.

Too bleeding right I'm not doing anything wrong - he ain't passing the responsibility of getting a bigger than expected CC bill onto me!!

I told him that I need to use the rest of his owed money (£60) to get the food for the rest of the month as there is only meat for 1 more night. He said 'we will talk about it later. I am now grizzly and need a coffee'

I think it's okay, hopefully thanks - the person who made the booking had double booked her, so I offered to not have it straightened (as I wasn't going anywhere) to help her catch back up.

So the style looks nice, but I wont really know until I straighten it myself tomorrow. I don't like it all wavy and 'big' like it is now.

She's never made a mess of it yet, so I trust her....I think!

I wouldn't be able to take a lot of those things onto a plane unfortunately and Canada is quite different than the States, you can get HP and things there! I will pit in Branston pickle and Welsh tea but you can get Earl/Lady Grey etc.

They don't have jelly babies, and I am going to get a few locally made beers and a Shropshire tea towel, maybe a small welsh spoon as well.

I was also going to put in gravy granuales! lol
