Just had 4 tickets to Festival of Speed two for me and two in DS name for him and a mate. And DH says we can go!!! Early Bird Ferry for £35 for the day return split 4 ways, tiny bit of petrol and we will take a picnic :money::money:

Such brilliant news after some very bad (could be worse, and still could get worse) news today, DH now on 4 day week with pay cut last time it happened a few months ago it wasn't the managers so didn't effect us but it's everyone now, very, very scary :eek:

Diddlepops - my work goes on the bonfire today please - had a letter today (yes, so my home address) to say that yes they've approved my new job description to give me more responsbility, but they've decided I don't deserve any more money. Seriously considering rejecting the new job description. It's not much different, just a few extra bits/more strategy. Everyone I spoke to said it should mean a pay rise. Guess HR didn't agree. Pants.
