The govt. announced this a while ago for people who couldn't get a job especially graduates but nothing seems to be happening and not much new news?

It has actually now been termed ‘The Graduate Talent Pool’
according to the official Department for Innovation, Universities & Skills website

A new dedicated website, which will match employers with suitable graduates will be launched over the summer, although interested organisations can register their interest in becoming part of the Graduate Talent Pool today online at the Graduate Talent Pool website. Businesses that have already signed up to the Talent Pool include Network Rail, the Police Service, Marks and Spencer and Microsoft.0 -
