Doing 10, you're going to get confused where you're up to once the ball starts rolling.

I suggest for now, do maybe 5, and only the 5 that seem to be giving you grief.

Those creditors / DCAs that have left you alone, leave them alone for now.

Ok, that's a good idea! Getting a little carried away with myself there :p

Is it worth applying to those who are ignoring us, or just let sleeping dogs lie for now?

Let sleeping dogs lye for now, sort out the important ones ;)

    I certainly will! :D
  • Scouselad - Sorry I missed your reply there for a minute! Thanks for sharing your experience, it seems that's the way it goes. Some of my creditors have accepted immediately, others are completely ignoring me right now! How quickly did cccs get your DMP set up?

    Hi

I went through business debtline as I am self employed, I rang them on a Thursday and worked out my budget on the telephone, their DMP pack arrived on the Saturday, I sent it back on the Monday, on the Friday CCCS sent a letter asking for creditor statements and my signature etc etc, I returned it on Monday and now I'm just waiting to receive confirmation that its set up, hopefully by the end of this week or early next week, In total just under 2 weeks at the moment, with a bank holiday thrown in.

  • Wow, that is a quick turnaround! I was thinking it would take months and months. I'm glad you've managed to get yours sorted so quickly. Thanks for sharing, I think we will still be looking at a formal DMP and I feel better knowing that it happens pretty quickly!
