Hi all, are boots still accepting volunteers??? I just registered with them and am wondering how long it takes to get a reply???

I registered earlier today, and after I submitted my details, a message came up saying I would be receiving some papers in the post within the next few days, re medical history and such like. No email confirmation though.

This was the page after I popped in my details ...

You will shortly receive consent and medical clearance forms in the post. Please complete these and return in the pre-paid envelope, which will be provided.
A doctor will review your medical clearance form and make a decision on your suitability to take part in controlled studies in the Evaluation Suite. You will be provided with a user ID and password to access your personal profile on the database. Those found not suitable for in-house controlled studies will still be able to participate in the home user studies.
On receipt of your password, you should access the database and complete all the questions in ‘My profile’, this information enables us to search for suitable volunteers for specific studies e.g. we may want to target volunteers who currently buy a certain type of product or volunteers who have a certain skin type.
When you have completed your personal profile, you then become eligible to take part in studies and will be able to see what studies are currently in progress and register your interest)

As far as I know they havent been taking on volunteers since last summer?

Unless you mean that you are going to Nottingham to do the studies? In which case thats what the doctors forms are for that they send you.

Maybe they are still taking people on for the Nottingham Evaluation Suite but as far as I know they are they havent been taking home volunteers for over a year?

They were putting people on a waiting list at some point?
