  • A friend of mine was sent a trial product from this lot (a moisturiser I think) and when she looked at it, the use by date was like a year ago! She contacted them and they said it was just a printing error, but she decided not to use it anyway in case. Has anyone else experienced anything like that?

Thats possibly why I said no to the mascara!

Although both the day cream and the mascara were offered to me...so considering one is 18-24 and the other 35-55 im not sure what they believe my age to be...

I also think they dont mind you giving things to family to test ...I get lots of mens products that as a female i'm the wrong sex but my husband fills the respones for those ...its never been a problem for boots to send the product

I always wonder why they ask you about your period... usually for the most irrelevant stuff. I never answer that question- it doesnt apply. I'm on the pill and dont have periods

Sometimes I am wondering what they are trying to say with these ideas... I dont buy products according to what the advertising is marketed at.. for example look at everyone who is adult who uses johnsons baby products...

Those questions usually only need to be answered if you say that you have had a reaction to a product...I guess at certain times of the month hormone levels may be different and that could be a possible reason for the question....

I wear mascara...I just dont layer it up over 8 coats or whatever it was they wanted last time....

I'd guess for instance that may be a 17 mascara, which seem to be aimed at a younger market (of course many others will buy it too I'm sure, but that isn't the main market).

Went to hit reply, and hit expired by accident :eek: Luckily it changed to not expired so clicked that straightaway. Just my luck today :(

I was wondering that about the men's toiletries and also the day cream. Could give them to my sister or brother, but they're useless with questionnaires and things :p

Wish I was young enough for the mascara :D

I apply for mens things for my husband and he applies for womens things for me, I dont give him the questionnaire, I just ask him the questions and fill it in myself as it still has to have your name on it.

I also give some stuff to friends.

    Hope that makes sense?
