Tempting, but only for 2 years.

A 3 year fix is 5.59% whereas a 5 year fix is 5.69%.

With regards to the "members only" deals, what is the criteria for being a member?

you probably have to have some form of savings or borrowings from Britannia

or from co-op (merging soon)

Hmm, my mortgage going through at the moment is fixed at 5.74% for 4 years, for an 85% LTV. £495 fee with free valuation and £250 cashback. This is with Abbey.

How do you think this compares? The ball is already in motion so think probably too late to change.

Seems insane to call a fix @ 10X base rate not bad though
