not sure if this has ben posted already, but I was in "The computer store" in Falkirk yessterday and saw that they had a "tiny" brand 42" plasma TV, TV tuner, speakers, fancy stand and a DVD HDD recorder at half price. £1289 if I remember right. I know tiny is not the best brandy, but can this price be beaten ?

I'd take a look at Richer Sounds. The Tiny package has a ridiculous £100 delivery charge and £1 a minute help(?) line.
Hopefully if Tiny have started dropping the price of plasmas then other places will follow suit in the new year.0 -
the tiny plasma picture quality is not one of the best! so beware of what you are buying.0

Personally id rather just buy the panasonic pw6 which ive seen for about 1300quid now. Much better picture quality. But, if you need the tv tuner, speakers and a dvd recorder on top of it then it might be too expensive. Luckily i have ntl cable and a home cinema system already.0 -
Where did you find the pw6 for £1300? Did it include any stand or speakers? I have sky and a home cinema system but the dvd player doesn't have an optical line in for the sound so would probably need speakers, or a new cinema system!0

I`ve been doing installs of this tiny offer for the last couple of months and as above the picture quality is very poor.Good luck everyone with your money saving0

Richer Sounds just off Bishopsgate has got several 42" plasmas for under £1500 (didn't check brands) so the New Year sales should be worth checking!0
