Asking for details from CSA...

Just another not so quick Q as I sift through mountains and mountains of Data Protection paperwork that the CSA has kindly sent us, some of it 2/3 times, hey ho, better than not at all.

My OH's DD is due to finish college next month (turns 18 in 4wks if that counts for owt), currently she isn't speaking to my OH (PAS is wonderful innit?), anyhoo, can we request that the CSA let us know her intentions with regards to returning to F/T education in the autumn or do we have to just sit back and wait for a change in the amount that he is assessed at and play 'lets guess what it is this time'? Surely the PWC woud have to inform the CSA of DD's intentions to qualify for the bridging period over the summer if she is planning to continue? Or maybe the CSA just continue the assessment as it stands until informed or requested to assess it otherwise - who knows how they work it, not themselves that's for sure!!

(Can tell it's 3am and I have insomnia again, my mind is ticking over far too much). Maybe it would be easier for us to prempt the CSA with these issues and raise these questions for them to investigate in our next letter (scaling up the complaint) rather than wait to be told after they have made another couple of million pounds worth of errors against our case, (yep, deffo late o'clock, the bitterness is creeping in now).

Thanks in advance, the ideas, thoughts and support from here are very much appreciated and have saved me from madness on many, many occassions.

They wont' be able to tell you, BUT there is nothing stopping you from pre-empting the situation and asking them to investigate it and amend as necessary.
