£1.80 on a baked potato and green and blacks chocolate bar, that thread last night made me want one so much! :rotfl: Deserved as a treat because my tutor says she really likes my dissertation and I don't have to make any changes to it (except a few typos!!) :j Am on a high right now
Sorry, its not money related, but i'm very pleased :T :j :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Have managed to make it the whole day without spending a penny!
Am highly impressed as it's my first one since the lightbulb moment!
Instead reward (or should I say kept fingers out of purse) by doing a far bit of housework for my day off. Back to work tomorrow so will have to make sure I take lunch including can of coke (BOGOF from tesco's). Am trying to do as many no spend days as possible!Aiming to make it through till friday.New flat mate moves in on saturday so I think we'll get a take out or something to celebrate.
Pay day on friday as well!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Spent 42p on two second class stamps to post out two ING Direct vouchers to try & get £10 when friends open up an account (fingers crossed)
Then £14.33 in Tescos on a few things I needed after visiting the Doctors this week (I think I am missing a few nutrients in my diet so had to take action....
And that should be it till the weekend (I hope)...we'll see!
Hope you really enjoyed that G & B choccy Kathfisch!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Did someone say Chocolate...?
I struggled all day yesterday to resist eating any, managed it and today have not craved it. In fact I put Good Housekeeping back, not because I didn't want to read it, but because if I'd bought it with G&B choc on the front then there would have been an immediate choc imperative back again!
I've spent:
£6 on window cleaning
£24.04 in Tesco - £6.01 on presents for my mini niece and her forthcoming brother, plus good haul of food.
...which I ought to go cook. :wave:Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
Special garden visit this morning, so £10 on petrol to get there, and £5 on a plant and a catalogue. That is incredibly restrained for me in a plant nursery!
I used my new camera for the first time , which was a lot of fun. I haven't had a digital camera before, and I love seeing my photos the same day without having to take them in somewhere (usually about two years after I have taken them...)
Great news about the dissertation Kathfisch! :j :j :j Well done!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
