M&S Italian Meal Deal £3

Hi,

Was in M&S earlier and spotted this Italian Meal Deal offer where you can choose any bag of pasta, any sauce and a twin pack of ciabattas for just £3! I though it was quite a good buy, don't know how long it will be on for though.

I got fiorelli and parpadelle pasta (quite big bags ), a jar of carbonara sauce, a jar of tomato sauce with meatballs in and two of the ciabatta twinpacks.

I thought it was a good deal too, considering premium brands of pasta sauce cost at least £2+ per jar. M&S sauces are always tasty. I've stocked up a bit for camping trips. And ciabatta freezes very well.

I picked this up yesterday - it's a good deal as the sauce is usually £1.99, the pastas are all around £1.20-£1.50, and the ciabatta around the same.
The sauce flavours included:
tomato and mascarpone
tomato and meatball
tomato and porcini mushroom
tomato and basil
tomato and chili
carbonara
four cheese
italian sausage

The jars are all around 350g, and the pasta are IIRC 500g - penne/rigatoni/linguine/tagliatelle etc including a couple of wholewheat varieties. This is dried pasta, btw, not fresh.
