I am probably going to need an op and will need to take between 4 - 6 weeks off work, I have worked in the company for 8 years and only had one day off sick, will I be paid for the full 4 - 6 weeks?

That depends on your employer. Some employers offer only SSP, some offer full pay, and some offer a reduced rate of pay on a gradual scale. You will need to check company policy.Gone ... or have I?0

The best thing to do is to speak to your manager, tell them about the operation & when you are expecting to go into hospital & how long you will be off work for and then ask about sick leave.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
