Space Clinic in Edinburgh
Options
Hey has anybody on here ever been to Space Clinic in Edinburgh.
It's been highly recommended to me as being the best physiotherapists in Edinburgh and their client list of all major sporting teams in the city seems to back this up, i'm just a bit concerned about their prices due to their prestigious client list.
So wondered if anyone else has been and whether they can shed any light on their pricing compared to their competitors

I think you will find that the "prestigious" clients get highly discounted rates. That's the bait to draw in the rest of the punters who have to pay top dollar.0

If you can get referred by your doctor, why not try NHS? I used physio at Tollcross medical centre, very good. Two visits and then own stretch plan for home, no cost. Thats money saving!0

Hi,
Why don't you email them on info@spaceclinics.com and ask about prices?
I know a few people who've used them and been happy.

I also had physio at Tollcross Health Centre and wouldn't recommend it. Although they have a number of different physios so maybe I was just unlucky. I have a variety of problems, stemming from the same condition, that I needed advice on and they would only discuss one area at a time. i.e. I had been seeing them for pain in my back, I had awful pain in my shoulder (for the same reason I had pain in my back) and they wanted me to go back to the doctor and get referred again, meaning another 2 months plus of waiting. I went back to the doctor and he said ask the physio?!
I've since given up on them and would rather see someone privately. Don't have any experience of space clinic though, sorry! I go to Mulberry House for osteopathy, which is wonderful and has helped me much more than the physio did. He also gives me exercises to do at home. They have a great 'low income' clinic where they give a fantastic reduced price if you are on income support or a student, like me. Might be worth checking if they have a physio?0
