Is ANCIENT freezer costing ££ to run?

Well maybe the easiest thing to do is to choos a day when you are out all day and only the freezer will be running. Read the meter before you go out, and again when you get back and work out how many kwt it used while you were out. If say, you were out for 8 hrs, multiply by 3 to equal 24 hrs(1day) then multiply by 10p(thats approx) and there you have it-your daily cost of running it.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

I just left it plugged in and read the total power consumed. Theres a button on mine to toggle between power consumed and the total time it has been plugged in so a bit of simple maths worked out what the average daily running costs would be.
Only problem is that the display is quite hard to read but if you unplug it, it clears the display - so a certain amount of grovelling around on the floor is involvedIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0
