I go for at least 16.... 12 times now i have told them the same story... today is time 13..
They KNOW my ex isnt SE although he used to be, he has told them himself he is no longer SE so why oh why do the CSA insist he is???
I think i finally got somewhere today when the reply to my 'he isnt SE' was 'so you are telling me that he isnt self employed anymore then?' urm... yes told you 12 times and twice by letter!!!
ggggrrrr rant over!!
My concern is that they will end up doing the calculation on the SE data they have for 07-08 which is £5 pw. If they do this how long will it take them to re calculate! and will the £5pw stand from the date they 1st contacted him to re-calculation or will it go back to date of initial contact
Also, they asked where ex works, i dont know this but i know what his contracted hours are and his hourly pay. They said they can give me a figure based on this info and then collect the wage slips etc! can they do this??
He has worked for his employed since autum 2008 but the CSA say they have done a HMRC trace and that HMRC hold no data for him except from prior to autum 2008 when he was SE.. surely with it being P60 time they should do by now? He is def employed.. without employer info they obv cant do deduction of earnings. How long does an employer have to registed all info with HMRC? I know it is quite a small employer as he has told me the name of the co in the past... but i cant remember now for the life of me who they are!!
In general the CSA have been good at returning calls and updating as promised...not that they ever update with anything i dont already know tho as i am on the phone to them at least twice a week chasing up!!
Before i kick the cat can someone please help re questions asked??

Hi thanks for the relpy.
I am aware that my post was lengthly but in the past have found the more you post 1st time round and more info given the more fellow posters can assist!
I have read the CSA website from back to front, left to right etc but it my opinion that their 'aims' are not always met... so ideally was looking for 'real life' experiences as opposed to 'csa ideals' even my case worker has told me that the booklet etc are 'ideals' and not always possible to maintain.
i have asked the CSA the questions and apparantly they are seeming to make the rules up as they go along. I have been told at least 2 different versions for each of my questions asked.0
