DD won tickets to Queens garden party!!

Not quite an 'I won', but closest I can get!
My DD entered her name into the countrywide draw for tickets to the Queens garden party for children, via the CBBC website.
Today she was notified that her name was one of the winning 1000 children.
She gets to take one other child (her friend) and an adult (me!) to the party at the palace on June 25th.
She was SOOOO excited when she read the letter from buckingham palace today.
Her little brother burst into tears (bless him) cos he didnt win.
the info that came with it look like it will be a memorable day for her.

Fab! My DS and DD applied, guess they weren't so lucky. Although, our post always takes 3 days longer than anyone else, I don't know what our postman does with it.Politeness is free, it costs nothing!

:T didnt get that one even though we applied but we did go to the party at the palace! It was a brilliant day and one to remember! Hope you enjoy yourselves! Oh and the 25th June is my birthday too! :TLove is all around! :rotfl:
