I am looking for an exciting gift that can be made from photographs for a friends birthday soon, i have had a look on one or two sites but no ideas(i.e photo mugs, puzzles etc) seem to have grabbed my attention so far. It is not for sentimental purposes...it is for a laugh and for a 20th, its photos thats the birthday boy hates and i want idea/sites that i can do something really funny and un-expected with them. I like the idea of making a personalised story with them but thats for kids, i also quickly looked into making life size cut outs but there too expensive.
Any ideas would be great

There is a great site called https://www.myphotobook.co.uk where you upload your photos to their site and they publish a book with your photos.
If you want something funny, I am willing to do some photo manipulation for you for a small fee to cover the cost of ink etc. You can have his head on any body, any situation, done professionally.
If you email me at peter.jenkins1@virgin.net and I'll email you an example.
Best regards

I stumbled across a photo on Ebay once that someone was selling on behalf of their mate - just for a laugh. The write up was really funny, and the questions they got asked were hilarious. You could do that depending on how good a sence of humour your friend has!0 -
Collage....another good idea but im looking for something a bit more stricking and embarassing...like a t-shirt of a collage of photos. Keep the ideas coming folks, im sure ill get one from here. No idea is too silly.0

I have a photomosaic package, this builds images from other images. PM me I'll show you an example.0

you could get some of that paper that you print photos on & iron them onto a tshirt & make one with the most embarassing photo you have. make a few & get everyone to wear them in the pub when he meets u for a drink.
i don't think the personalised story is just for kids, u could make up & print your own so it's relevant to him.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0 -
Very simple idea but how about making a 'timeline of embarrassment' - so you can see many different ages of him looking daft, then have it up as along the first wall he sees wherever you're getting together. You could then add lots of funny comments underneath and all you'd need was some cheap colour paper as a mount. Possibly include some 'lookalikes' of him on it to. Maybe make some sppeech bubbles and have silly quotes about him from friends and family, etc ...0

Most photo places now offer photo books. The cheapest I've seen are for £6. Just look around the web at who offers them and you can probably find one for about the price you want.0
