Hello,
I am just looking for advice and i am sorry if this is in the wrong place.
My ex hasnt paid anything towards his children (two children) and he isnt working but I have found out that the benifit he is getting he SHOULD be paying £5 a week,(i know it isnt alot)
I am wanting to know if the CSA will back date the payment as he hasnt paid for two years!! Really need to know where I stand before i get his back up.
Thank you ever so much.xx

They only back date to when the case was opened, if there is no case open then no back payment is due.0

As i understand it if you have an on going case with them then it should be back dated as it is an open case. If the case is closed, or you have never gone via csa then the money will start to accrue from the date they make contact with the NRP. hth0

the only way to be sure is to call and ask... if you have had no confirmation the case is closed it should still be open.... but this is the CSA we are talking about. I would give them a quick call asap. Get the ball rolling..sooner you do it sooner it will be sorted0
