Catchy Title it ain't!

I am thinking about painting the outside of my house and need more than few big tins of masonary paint. You know the sort of thing - Weathershiled, Santex etc. B+Q have some, of the same colour, but not enough.

Where would yu recomend getting greater volumes??

Many thanks

Tony

  • Hi,

If you are near Belfast. You could try McKee & Birnie, 91 Rugby Avenue. 90233609. I boght 5L Crown Masonary paint about 2 months ago. I am not sure if they sell larger tins ( I don't think there is a size larger than 5L).

We got ours in Rathfriland where we live 10 litres of Magnolia, think they were £16/20.

Painters Choice in Carryduff have large volumes of paint. I usually buy Dulux weathershield but got magnolia in sandtex in 10 litres for about £20 off them not so long ago. They can mix 10lt buckets of masonry too, which is handy i suppose but magnolia's fine for me! I think they open late every night too, but worth checking around to be honest.

    Hope this helps!
