If you have access to a car, take it to the nearest council skip/recycling centre. If not, take a carrier bag of rubbish and when you go out pop it into a litter bin.0

ring them... im sure they will collect it!Plan

call your council and tell them they should collect it0

Tell them its a health hassard.
They may collect this time but not sure you will get that service twice?0 -
Carla, before you speak to them - my council will only collect it if they had missed it rather than I had not left it out.

Ohhhhhhhh who slept in?? Suppose you can always blame the other half0

Do what I do and put the bin out the night before.
If we miss it, I usually tie the lid down closed, put the back seats of the motor down and take it to the dump.
Make sure you tie the lid properly though, stinking rubbish going all over your car is not nice.0 -
Weve missed our bin for the last 2 collections, thankfully it was only the paper bin though! You can call the council and ask if they will collect it, it really depends on who you get speaking to and what mood they are in. There might be a small fee though!Life is what you make it.0

If they won't come and get it then you could put the bin somewhere shady for the next two weeks and don't open it as it will honk. You could put bring your new rubbish to the dump/recycling/amenity site every few days and put it into the general waste skip. It's a right royal pain in the bum I know. I've missed my bin collection in the past because they suddenly started collecting at 7.00am having previously collected in the early afternoon and I got lazy about putting it out the night before.0

You would be best to ring them and tell them that it was left out but not lifted.
They will most likely add it to a missed bin list and it would be lifted on Saturday
