Hi, I bought my kitchen from wickes 18 months ago. They had a half price sale on at the time so they would really budge on the price, but if it isn't in the sale then they might. We had our own fitter fit the kitchen as they wanted a lot for fitting but I must say that we are very please with the quality of the kitchen.

    Good luck

You can only ask, you might not get money off, but you could ask for something else extra, set of taps, sink, appliance. Its such a compedetive area and DIY seems to be in a bit of a slump going by B&Q's results, if the guy is on commission he will not lose a sale for a few extra quid. If he won't budge, just ask him when the next sale is on, it might be worth a wait.

    Good luck.

If I was you I would definitely give it a try. When I was "doing up" my last house I bought building and timber supplies from them along with a kitchen package and they knocked just over £250 off because I was buying so much from them, don't get me wrong they didn't volunteer to do this, I had to ask them but they were absolutely fine about it and wouldn't hesitate now to do this any time I am spending a substantial amount in the same store.
    Good luck and be brave!!
