Can't save Firefox bookmark

Am running Firefox 3.0.10 In the previous version was able to save the bookmarks in html format. Can't seem to do that anymore. It does give me the option to save in that format but nothing appears in my folder. Can only save in json format which appears in my folder.
Any idea how to save in html format?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

I dont think it saves it as html now
I just go to firefox, bookmarks, organise bookmarks, import/export bookmarks
EDIT it say it can save as html after export/import0
