Budget paintings for decorating my room

Hi All!
I've never really bought anything than posters etc. I'm 20 and moved home for the summer from Uni to a new house and I'm trying to add personal touch to my room but want it to be a bit nicer than your usual boy football posters or whatever :P
So wanting to get a few (canvas?) paintings to put up or things like that of things arty or like New York , places like that. If I seen them I'd know what I like.
But I have no idea where to look, and more importantly at competetive prices! Can't afford to fork out too much with no full time job. Looked at argos and there is a couple, but I thought there has to be some good websites for this kind of stuff.
And where better to ask!? thanks!

Try Dunelm Mill - either online or find your nearest store: They've got a sale on at the moment too!

They had giant ones in morrisons last week for 15 quid but I was too embarassed to carry it to the till :embarasseThe quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.0

You could buy some cheap blank canvases - The Works sell them for about £5. Get some 'bold' wallpaper samples free from B&Q - then all you need is PVA glue and a craft knife to make a stylish pic for your wall !Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Look out for your local Art Society Exhibition where you can pick up an original painting quite reasonably and help a struggling artist at the same time!Born to shop;)0
