I wanna tent or tents for family of 6

I would like a six-man tent or - probably more useful - a couple of 3-man tents, to take my family camping and to a festival this summer. We bought an expensive tent recently and one of the poles snapped and turned out to be not replaceable, so I don't want to make that mistake again. I'd like tents that are cheap but sturdy! Thanks to anyone who can advise on what/where to buy.

We got a great 6-man tent from Argos which was reduced to more than half-price- £ 43.50 a week or so ago. Not sure if they still have it-we put it up in the garden and it is fantastic for the money!0

Lidl had some advertised recently for a little over £100 - I thought about getting one but I already have 2 tents (one expensive khyam and the other was a cheapo from Lidl - actually better than the Khyam if truth be known).0

Vango tents are excellent, you should check them out. When we were looking last year they were recommended by everyone:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

If your going to use for festivals then look at the new Quechua Base Seconds 4.2 its a pop up tent which you can buy from Decathlon stores in the UK. You can also expand it using the Base Seconds Full add on tent to allow further bedroom or living space.
If your looking for a very quick and easy overnighter tent for a few people its a cracker.0 -
if you want a tent to sleep 6 people, then you will need a tent that is advertised as sleeping 8+
if you get a tent that sleeps the correct number of people, unless you like playing sardines, then it will be a tad claustraphobic
dont buy two tents for your family, as campsites charge per tent, so that would double your expense every time you camped

There was a spot on This Morning about tents etc last week and they were showing all kinds of camping stuff on sale in supermarkets, one of the tents had seperate bedrooms and was quite cheap. You might be able to find details on This morning bit of ITV website.0
