freezing interest on c cards

if i rang my credit card companies and told them that I was having problems making the payments each month, can they freeze the interest for you?

I think for them to freeze the interest you would have had to miss payments already. If you are antitpating problems they are usually less helpful, but would possibly let you make reduced payments in the short term. If you are in debt, you should ring the CCCS or payplan. They are free, helpful and friendly. They will be able to answer all your questions.0
