Help please-Can I claim back Credit Card charges?

Hi
I just wondered if you I can claim back Credit Card charges-overlimit fees and late payment fees?
I am now on a plan with Capital One but they have charged me loads in fees over the past couple of years(my own fault I know!!!).
I have just read somewhere that i may be able to claim them back?

Kind of spooky I just did a search because I was going to post something similar and this came up from today!
I am with capital one as well and they have recently charged me £20 for going over my limit by £45 but it was an accident and was really due the fact that it takes them over a week sometimes to update your record online and I believed it wasn't as close as it was.

you can reclaim bank charges although it will take some perserverance.
