Another round of sales has begun. M&S has started its mid-season sale, promising up to 50% off clothes. Tesco Extra* has reductions on electricals, DVDs, books and wine. Laura Ashley has discounts online, plus from this Saturday (28 March) Next is launching its spring sale.

Remember sales are great for big ticket items and things you were going to buy anyway. But do compare prices online to make sure the goods aren’t cheaper elsewhere.

Click reply to share other any sales you spot or bargains you manage to track down.

Clarks started their mid season sale a couple of weeks ago too but have added more ladies lines today :D

    Martin,

The Next Sale is this Saturday but it's the 1st April not the 28th March . Honest - its not an April Fools :D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

The official dates for the Next Sale are Saturday 1st April - Sunday 9th April. Perhaps the instore sale is only for two days, but it will be online for a week.

Gap start their next round of reductions this Friday. Browse https://www.gap.com for ideas and then just go in and buy.

Oh, and don't forget to keep your receipt for the 14 day price back guarantee. It nearly always works, esp with sale merchandise!

Moss Bros have some great things on sale.

I found a £139 De Havilland suit jacket reduced to £20 in the Oxford Street store. Arms were a bit short though, so it's still there - very nice medium blue pin stripe.
