hi, some useful information, I work as a PI and we were recently told by the OFT that in debt cases we are NOT allowed to contact neighbours about an alleged debtor as to do so would be sharing information with the neighbour about your personal affairs and a breach of the dpa. We were told that anyone still doing this would face action. Therefore, in short, no they arent supposed to do that.
