out of date fizzy flavoured water question

This got left in the fridge its unopened, will it have lost its fizz and be past its best now its about 8 months out of date but unopened.

would you open and try or just bin it?

    it might still have a bit of fizz left...u could chuck it in to a punch for a summer bbq...or add to some fruit juice or just drink on its own im sure it will be fine...nice even

    At the very least open it and try it!
    The date is a best before, so it will probably not be at its best, but should still be safe to drink, whether it tastes nice is another thing... go on give it a try :D.

    on another topic, i made up some jelly with product 18 months out of date. it was lovely!
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
    current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)

    new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,000

    It should be fine safety wise. A couple of years ago we found some old shoot football magazines in my loft. They were still in the packaging and stuck to one issue - which was 10 years old - was a chew bar called frutang. I think it was fruitella chews but with a sour taste. We all left it alone but days later noticed the bar had gone. Questioning revealed that my younger brother fancied a sweet :rotfl:Nothing happened though and he was fine. He said it tasted amazing aswell.
