I’ve just remembered – we have a flat inspection tomorrow, and I’ve done no flying today! And the kitchen is full of washing up. I need to get up early tomorrow and sort things out. My head is feeling better after having a bath, but it’s still not better. I should do some tidying tonight, but not sure I’m up to it

Bevan, it is a very frustrating illness. It took my mum years to get diagnosed too, in the 80’s it wasn’t known at all. I remember hanging out as a child at the doctors quite a lot! Mum’s GP called it “Mrs [her surname]’s disease” as he knew she was ill but had no idea what it was. Eventually she got diagnosed, but then she spent the 1990’s trying to find a cure, and rebelling against the illness. Now she works with it, instead of resenting it. She knows what she can cope with and has learned to say no to doing things if they are too much for her on a certain day. No day is the same for her, she has good days and bad, and can never predict how she will feel. What she has found helpful when she has a good day is to not overdo it, don’t do too much as then the energy carries over and she can get more done over more days instead of doing everything on a good day and then having lots of bad days as a result IYSWIM.

Hugs MOJ2 about the kitchen hope you can get it all sorted out

Are you ok Grateful? What happened? Hope you are not too shaken up

Mudbath, I’m the same, I’ve been messy all my life and now I hate mess!

Toots! How lovely to see you back! We have really missed you! Now TAKE IT EASY!

    Welcome home toots!

Thursday nutty dash done, DS2s been offered another camp (closer to home) but clashes with another weekend we're supposed to be away and it's DPs Dad's party. Argh! Going to discuss it with DP tomorrow, check times for party & if I can come back to pick him up on time on the Sunday.

Ok tonight. I must start getting better organised so I can sort me/us/the house/assignments out. Need to sort DS1s swimming stuff for tomorrow, he's finally got a new swimming teacher at school! So I need to start remembering swimming kits again........Shopping to put away from earlier. Think I will try and get a 27 fling in too, get a washer load in/hung out.
One day I might be more organised...........
