Payment Protection Insurance Need Advice

Hi Guys I rather stupidly took out PPI on a loan I have when I was querying my balance the other day I stated my figs didnt match up to what the loan company has I thought I'd owed less?
I am paying £160 a month but they told me cause I took ppi the actual loan pyt is 110 and I'm paying 50quid in ppi a month!!!!!!!!!1

I was really in a bad way at the time so I needed the loan thankfully My debts are under control now But what I wanted to ask was Can I ask for this money back? I know I can cancel But I feel that the £600 I have already spent on this, this last year could really have went to paying my overdraft off?
Can anyone advise

Thanks

I weould imagine if you singed for it, then you won't be able to claim it back as you originally agreed to that charge.

I am sorry that's my view but maybe someone else knows more about these things :o

  • Hi I spoke to Black Horse today they said it is easy to cancel I just need to send in a letter(better be by recorded post!)
They did say I couldnt have a refund though of the money I have already paid?
Is this right ? I dont really feel I was mis-sold it in all honesty but I felt I was pressured into it as my credit rating wasnt to hot at the time?

Thanks for all yuor help but can someone answer the above for me?

    Thanks folks!
