Tesco Value Fruit and Veg half price!

Apologies if someone already posted this!
In my two local Tescos they've slashed the price of the Value range of fruit and veg which makes it by far the cheapest around.
Ideally I'd be shopping at farm shops or greengrocers but on my budget it's just not feasible at the moment...
Anyway - you can now buy:
10 bananas for 49p
2 kilos of carrots for 44p
8 coxes apples for 34p
8 pears for 45p
4 beetroot for 29p
500g of Mushrooms for 64p
1 big stalk of Broccoli for 24p
It's a godsend for me at the moment!

I don't find the Tesco fruit and veg to be very good and it never lasts.0

My OH also says that tescos fruit and veg is poor quality, and often goes off before its sell by date. She actually holds LIDL & ALDIs fruit and veg in the highest regard, and they have great prices all the time, not just an occasional offer (and the stuff is always correctly priced too!).
I never buy fruit or veg so it never troubles me!It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
Interesting... I find their fruit and veg to be very good quality (even the value stuff) and it lasts for ever.
Mind you I have a very good fridge where it all goes as soon as I get home - anything normally lasts weeks in there!

Just been to both my local tescos and they dont have this offer on???Wasted trip
Bananas have gone down per kilo but not price stated.Strawberries were 99p.But nothing really worth getting especially.0 -
