Does anyone know whether BT will allow you to set up a direct debit whilst you have an outstanding bill , or will they only do this when the balance is clear? Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T

when we got behind last month (had 2 months of phone to pay just under 80.00) we had to clear our bill before they could set up a direct debit, 2 days after bill was paid they set the dd up, i would give them a ring and see if it could be different for you? ours may have been as we were new customers having changed from ntlDFW nerd club number 039

We didn't they just let us set one up. It was £47 a month though to clear the outstanding balance. It doesn't hurt to ask and the phonecall is free, so you might as well try.Barclaycard 3800
