Hi,
I know I'm owed over £300 pounds worth of tax (a lot for a student!) but stupidly I haven't kept my payslips. I only have a P45 no P60 is there any way I can calculate how much tax I'm owed, or any forms to fill in to find out?
Thanks in advance

You cannot claim tax back using paylsips. You need to download form P50 frm www.hmrc.gov.uk and send it with yuor P45 to yur tax office. You can look up the address on the same website by checking your tax reference. Impossible to say what your refund will be without knowing your pay and tax and the date you left.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

When did you work? If it was before April 5th then you need to apply to HMRC for a tax refund, enclose your P45 and details of what you were doing between April 6th 2008 - April 5th 2009 enclose details of earnings etc, otherwise they may write asking for details, this just delays the process.
If its for earnings since the 6th April 2009 and you have stopped working and don't expect to work again this tax year then follow fengirls advice as aboveHe's not an accountant - he's a charlatan0
