digital weighing scales - which ones to get?

I mean for weighing a person not food.
I have some cheap digital weighing scales but they are annoying because you have to knock it with your foot, wait a few seconds before it switches on
Whereas analogue scales would just weigh you immediately
Does anyone know if more expensive digital scales like what you find in Argos for £20 work differently? Thanks

Well I'm still using the cheap digital scales. The batteries are expensive and last only about a month, this doesn't seem right as they're Energizer brand batteries.
Any thoughts on other scales to get?0
