Could be interesting - new series starting tom night on BBC2 (Tuesday 28th March)
Documentary Highlight
It's Not Easy Being Green
8:00pm - 9:00pm
BBC2 Scotland

Subtitled, Widescreen

Most of us know, in a guilty sort of way, that if we made an effort we could make our lives a lot greener. Some of us may even dream, after watching a few too many episodes of River Cottage, about downshifting to the country. Well, !!!!!! Strawbridge and his family have gone ahead and done it, taking over a neglected farm in Cornwall and embarking on a "planet-loving lifestyle". Strawbridge, a big, jolly man whose moustache probably has its own ecosystem, is keen to emphasise that, for him, going green doesn't mean doing without comforts. "I want a coffee machine and a dishwasher," he growls. And his wife Brigit admits she's more attached to her daily hot bath than is ecologically correct. But they make an impressive start, and if you can cope with Strawbridge's burly ego and papa-bear bonhomie, it's inspiring TV.

Good point - I'm not sure but you could check here or at radiotimes.com?

I usually get a Sunday Paper which has the listings for the week (and in the case of the Sunday Herald also has a voucher for 2 for 1 cinema tickets for the following Monday) but the Radio Time site is very useful (apart from the annoying pop up ads grrrr!) - you can select which channels to display and once registered you only need to type in your email address to log in.
It will automatically display the listing for your region once you have set your channels and you can add anything interesting to 'my programmes' which means you can then see a list of all the things you really want to see (not much in my case!) at a glance without all the other clutter - also useful for us stone age video recorder people who still tape stuff as it has the videoplus numbers so you can set the vid for the week ahead if you are not sure if you will be in or whatever... Probably should get a Tivo or pvr but I have a perfectly functioning video recorder and tons of blank tapes lying around so why spend £££ when the technology changes so fast anyway..."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

Thanks for reminding me this prog was on tonight. Very interested to see how they get on and hope it is better than other similar shows that have been on in the last year or so.
Just have to say that we met the lovely Penny Poyzer (No Waste Like Home)at the Ideal Home Show last week and got reinspired to follow her lead in being environmentally friendly in EVERYTHING we do - shopping, washing clothes, decorating, recycling etc etc. Off to the library to borrow her book today hopefully.0 -

Yes I'm going to tape it, as it clashes with Holby City which I never miss, I'm looking forward to it.
On the note of the TV guide, we stopped buying the Radio Times and bought the Saturday paper instead as its about 25p cheaper.0 -
