A fella in a boozer round our way does the Fusion blades for £3 a pack. Beat that!

Mind you, I POINT BLANK REFUSE to buy any from him.....I've got a Mach3 and they won't fit the handle.

of course - haven't you seen the ads where they want people to throw away their mach 3's :p

I use gillette sensor 3 disposable razors from wilkinson as they now and then have buy 1 get 1 free offers on a pack of 4

I was up visiting the in-laws, and realised I had forgot my razor, so the OH's dad gave me one of his 'SABRE' disposable razors to use (as bought from Everthings A Pound).....it was like scraping my face with a broken bottle!

Anyone know why GILLETTE blades are so expensive, and why you can never find them at bargain prices??? Do gillette have some sort of dodgy price fix going?

good for you princess but a handle and at least one blade is a bargain as far as i'm concerned...no real pitfalls eh!

Well swannee, if this website was catered purely for you, then that would all be well and good, but this information was a 'heads-up' for those who would sooner put £2 towards buying a cheaper razer where replacement heads don't cost the earth!!

Oh and thank you for the princess comment but I don't think princesses come with a voice quite as deep as mine

Before people start having a digg at Gillette for the prices remember that the technology is complex and you cant just start adding extra blades onto the handle, they do require positoning and plenty of other stuff that i cant really think of!!!

    Indeed.

Just look at the problems Reggie Perrin had with his ten blade razor design!

"And this is Reggie - he's working on a ten blade razor!"

"Wow Reggie! Can a razor really have ten blades?"

    "Actually.....no, it can't."
