quidco cashback,I got a payout for returned goods,do I keep it?

Quidco is brilliant for extra income,I have used it after seeing it mentioned on here over a year ago.I made a little bit extra by going through quidco for all my xmas shopping, buying my washing machine etc.My question is about cashback that I was paid but I didnt keep the goods. The goods were returned within 7-10ish days of reciept and the cashback was still validated after 4 weeks and they paid it to me last month.
Do I return the cashback, will quidco ask for it back or will I owe the company who mistakenly paid it out?It was over £30.
What should I do?

I had something similar with a purchase via Littlewoods. I contacted Quidco and they told me that as Littlewoods had validated it, I could keep it. End of.
    Mine was about £40 too.

I agree with Evie82, even if you wanted to give it back you wouldn't be able to. Maybe make a mental note to use that retailer again in future to return the money in that way (going through Quidco, of course ;) ).
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Thanks,
It is a retailer I use lots ,too much, and I have never returned anything before to them.Just felt like a thief when I realised the cashback was for stuff I had returned but I guess they have made plenty out of me in the past and will in the future so I dont feel so bad about it now.
