Hi guys I have recently been made redundent from my part time job.
I am a university student and would like to earn some extra money.

I have started on dooyoo writing some reviews and I think that it can be worth about £20 a week without too much effort.

I have registered with yougov but there isn't any questionaires on there for me at the moment.

Anyone got any suggestions I am free all the time until October at the moment and to be honest only need £100 a week to earn what I was working 13 hours at M&S.

I have also been thinking about car valeting I have more equipment than most valeters as I would class it as a hobby ( we are talking £1k plus of equipment and products)

    Thanks
    Aaron

You already HAVE the equipment!I didnt read that properly first time round, sorry. Then yes absolutely do that. Can you do a mobile car valet service?
Do up some leaflets and get busy posting them in houses with nice cars parked outside.I have no idea about pricing the jobs etc for valeting but I think thats a great idea, especially as you already have the kit you need to get going.

Not sure about Body Shop, but with Vie at Home (formally Virgin Vie) male consultants are very welcome. Some of the top sellers are male!

I've read that quite a few people make money out of matched betting. I've read the guidelines and it seems quite complicated. How easy is it to get the hand of? Is it quite straightforward?
    Thanks

You could go to companies that have car parks and offer to valet them while in the car park - someone does that at my work, probably lots of money to be made there

    OK seriously?? Avon, car valeting?
I walked into pizza hut and gave them my mobile number, 8 days later it was my first shift - the "interview" was telling me about the salary and benefits.
    Why make it complicated.
I earn 100 pounds a week in additional income, it's easy work, there's no risk, it's guaranteed income and it doesn't impede on my life too drastically.

Anyway, it's whatever you feel comfortable with I suppose. But there is no quick buck, you are going to have to work for it however you make it.

The main reasons I don't do this are: my car is on its last legs and there's a very real risk of breakdown (not unusual for a student to be in the same situation) and, more importantly, there's an inerent risk with going to strangers' houses - you never know what kind of psycho might answer the door.

I'm a tiny little woman though, so I see risk differently to boys, but I thought I'd point it out. If you are thinking about it though don't forget to tell your insurance, as it can be invalid if you don't, even if the company have cover for while you're working.

But Aaron, it's all about the valeting, I think £20 is about average so one day's work should compensate for the loss of your M&S job. If you can combine it with topless-ness then you're quids in. If you've got it, use it! ;)

    Good luck. :)
Do you need it? Yep. Really? Yes! How have you managed for the last 28 years without it? Erm....
