i was thinking, would this work though as the manufacturers dont know every single shop that sells the item, OP you would be better off emailing or calling each supermarket that is close to you and ask them which stores close to you stock it, i know sainsburys would do this if theres a store near you

I think it sometimes depends on where you live.

We used to be able to get TimTams at our local Sainsbury's but they stopped stocking them - not enough aussie's in Nottingham!!
Can't buy Milo instore from our local Tesco, but can get it if we do an online shop?!?

Can still buy vegemite from both local Sainsbury's and Tesco though - although we always bring back a bigger jar when we come back from Australia.
