nothing free about this surely? if you give up after 3 months you still have to pay for those 3 months or 4 depending on where you live. I agree it's not the easiest of things to understand

(2) Please take your time to read things. It says 3-month membership available, nothing about the membership being free.
(3) A quick glance at the terms and conditions should have cleared up any lingering uncertainty about this being a freebie. It clearly says that the least you will pay is fees for 3 months.

its so you dont be tied into a 12 month contract which is the norm for gym memberships
