Aqua debt problem

Hi I am currently managing my own dmp I have 7 debts two are with cabot and capquest. Six of them are running smoothly except for Aqua they are continuing to charge interest and late fees.

I received a letter yesterday stating that they are going to send someone to my house on tuesday to discuss my account.
Just wondering has anyone dealt with Aqua I know I don't have to let them in, do you think it is just a scare tactic for me to pay them more which I can't and are they likely to turn up.
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes

They are halifax, to be honest not really a nice company. I had togo to the FSO about them and have a current complaint. I would advice 100% sending letters recorded as they ignore them.

More often than not it is a scare tactic, but as you know if anyone shows up you tell them get lost and call the police if they won't leave. :)

  • Thanks pnp and fermi I do send letters by recorded delivery. They seem to stop charges for two months and then start charging the interest charges and late fees again.

I am on income support and Dla and I only pay them token payments.

I will get my son to answer the door he will tell them where to go :D
    Thanks again
