This year, National Oil Check Week will be spearheaded by a nationwide roadshow run by oil and car care experts, Comma. The roadshow will visit four of the UK's biggest shopping centre venues between June 15 - 19, including Europe's largest shopping centre, Bluewater in Kent.

Visitors to the roadshow days will be able to have a free motor oil check and top-up worth up to £15, as well as learning why it's important to keep an eye on oil levels.

my OH learnt the hard way about making sure he checks oil levels! Needed a new engine...

I did that too. Many years ago. I thought that the oil light would tell you when to put it in, not htat when the oil light came on it was too late. I ended up scrapping the car. I have checked the oil levels ever since.
