Sorry Pap - drifted off to sleep last night :o

Hotels is the big expense but they can be done cheaply - like the wembley travelodge is cheap when events arent on...nothing round here is cheap though (too close to Victoria station) :o

Eating is mucho cheapness - especially in Chinatown :D

Like all big cities London can be stupidly expensive or very cheap or everything in between - it all depends on what you want - but I am cheapskate and I seem to do fine here :p

Dont know anything about games or pedometers to be honest - I do walk a lot though and just enjoy it tbh :D:D, it has been known for me to walk 9 miles on a weekend and 6 every weekday , if you're keen to get into it start slowly and just enjoy - then you can pick up the pace later if you want - its great for the joints and has good health benefits too :D

Thanks Becky... I think Booky said something about guide huts or something? Maybe that could be an option. But I bet with a bit of searching we can get someone cheap to bed down :) I already checked out train price and they are only like £20, super cheap :j I hope more people are up for it... its been an ambition of mine for years :rotfl:

Ahhh cool, I walk a lot with my job but I also walk 3miles home from work. Not fast just steady and usually with book in hand :rotfl: Its just the summer months are coming up and I want to start excercising a little so more walks home and in our local parks. I think I will just time myself for now but I would love to get the game because its goaled ~ so you have to walk around the world etc... too cool  Just wondered if you rated it but if its not your department then I will wait for the reviews :j

    Moooorninng!

    I don't have a hangover-MIRACLE! I drank 1.5 bottles of wine last night!

Had lovey time with my friend, she's having a horrible time with a former friend, being bullied (at 40 years old!) and now I've been drageed into it as horrible former friend is on my FB-thinking I should block her but I don't want her to know I'm bothered, but on the other hand, I just need her crap and I HATE what she is doing to my mate...Thoughts on this one???

Bex-we found the food most expensive in London-but I do love it there! we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Battersea, it wasn't too dear.

I love Battersea - its a great place and very central actually :D, the park is lovely with the zoo and kids can hire those lying down bike/trike things - they look fun :D

Food wise - I do a lot of local cafes and they are cheap and lots of eating in the park etc - my garden is great for picnics and stuff - I try not to eat lunch in restaurants unless its the pancake house or somewhere like that as it gets expensive if its two meals a day out :D

I didn't know about the zoo and things Bex! It looked gorgeous though all around there. There is so much to see and do in London-you could easily spend weeks there and not see everything!

Well Wimbledon south (whatever that means) is £136.00 for two nights in Oct. Thats not that expensive seeing as Birmingham was £70 I think for one night :o
