**EDITED BY MOD**

Comments

  • Dunno about that, i got a 512mb one off ebay for 14 quid !!! Had to wait two weeks for it as it was coming from china ...still quite the saving, and there's millions of them all over ebay , most from the same seller , big savings !!

    :rotfl:
  • Yeah but ebay isnt a shop online, its an auction, i know what your saying, but there's millions of scams all over ebay. I'd prefer to buy from a online shop, thats all

99% of the ones on Ebay are fakes, and going by the price of the ones linked to i would bet that they are possibly fakes too, there is a easy way to check by the packaging staples on the edge, fakes are round , real ones oblong

there prices appear to be just marginally higher than the prices for the fakes on Ebay, considering how much they are undercutting the 'genuine' prices I'd be inclined to beleive they could well be selling good fakes too

edit: and if you note at the bottom of their home page they even link to ebay and show how much feedback they have
  • Just checked the one i received, it seems to have 'real' packaging as a pose to the 'fake' packaging, whatever thats all about! Why is everyone so sceptical of good offers, i try to spread the word and everyone automatically talks about the negatives!

    O Well!

I have not looked around that much, but recently purchased a Sony 1gb from Amazon for £36.50. Price is now up to £48 but still not bad.

If you don't have to have the Sony branded ones, there is a Sandisc 1gb currently for £37.

    Both include free shipping.

Because there are loads of Fake Sony memory sticks about and they seem way cheaper than any other online retailer , i would hate for someone to take pictures and loose them all never to see them again.

Also read the link i posted for more details on fakes and what to look for its not just the packaging http://forums.vr-zone.com/showthread.php?t=53801

I can vouch for davoom . I've bought plenty off them in the past and the prices are not bad. Saying that, the last couple of memory sticks I've bought have all been from good ebay sellers. No complaints from me!
Or you could try mymemory via quidco but I've never used them.
