how's the dog doing now? has he had his stitches out now and is he up and about? did you get sorted with insurance?
Did you ever get the ball back? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, I'll put my drivel on this thread as it is MOC related!:D -
There is a MOC god.:j Went in last night for first time since Sunday and spotted a young male SA who looked a likely candidate - gave him my 5 MOC's (as per previous store rules) but asked him if he could take more, he said yes, gave hime another 10, asked him if he could take a few more, yes again, so emptied wallet and gave him another 10. He scanned the lot, even Shakes 50p, so 25 MOC's and £21 off - best result for 6 weeks. I've said this before but it just shows you have to perservere and don't give up or believe what you are told by the SA's, keep handing over as many coupons as the SA will accept. Sounds a bit like Robert Burns - If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Sounds a bit like Robert the Bruce to me:confused: (as he watched the wee spider trying to climb back up, whilst cowering the cave!)

To get it back on topic;)...he was in the cave waiting for Tescos to open, so he could spend all his MOCs:rotfl:

Thats ok, but i went into Tesco yesterday and the rince aid has gone back up to £3.50!!!!
Still good for a lot of people to use up lots of little coupons, to have a big one to add to the little ones for the next shop.

I should knock your heads together:rotfl:

You're possibly right Blue...I could have PM'd Bully...even though she is busy trying to buy a new laptop, since coupons won't print at the moment...... or I could have guessed all the other Wimbledon fans, or just slip in a nice friendly post (oh I DID do this one!;))reminding everyone about the store locator link, since folk may be going on their travels at this time of year, and may want to use up their coupons.
This to me was a quick, brief way of stopping everyone from months to come about where stores were in different areas of the country.

I just hope bully doesn't fill up the ashtrays in the car too often;)

I could have taken my time to explain in great detail, how it works, and what it is useful for, but I thought that may extend the length of my previous post and I wanted to keep things brief, since ,as I pointed out in the original post it was only "vaguely coupon related".
However, I must stress this very very firmly (even if my tongue is lodged inmy cheek!) that I am now must upset with your behaviour and for making me return with a comment that has nothing at all to do with finding new coupons.

Many apologies for the lack of brevity in this here post;), but I blame it on BlueWkd and Swannee trying to wind each other up....now stop it....or I'll write another essay:mad: and P!ss :pEVERYONE off:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Happy Couponning one and all
and for anyone who is unsure....this is meant as merry-banter to diffuse the girls from squabbling in the playground:cool:
(it was also tongue in cheek, knowing that keeping the previous one brief, made this one longer....there is probably little point quoting this to point it out to me:p)

For anyone who doesn't realise, this is all FUN no animals or people where hurt in the writing of this post.:rotfl:

FUN has got to be allowed now and again, can't alway be serious:eek:
Unfortunately, things have now gone too far the other way and some people are not posting cos they are afraid they will get shot down if not coupon related, let's all try to find a middle ground and please come back (you know who you are, you lurkers)

I'd agree that it's much more fun, when you can have a bit of banter...good job MM5 is having a sabbatical at the moment..
Lori's post was also spot on, asking us to reign it in a bit.
The forum is for everyone on it, but while Lori is having to troll through everything to kleep the first post updated, I think we should basically, try and abide by what is going to make it easier for her.
    As a reminder:-

This looks to me like a well thought-out post, which probably had several re-drafts to ensure no animosity, or mis-reading of it;) and has also got a huge amount of folk agreeing with it.

It is not asking (IMHO) for people to jump on others for posting a "non-coupon related" post or accusing people of "thinking it doesn't apply to them".
**** It has been suggested that little needs to change, apart from blue-font highlighting of coupons...and Lori suggested that that would make it easier for her.
**** It has been suggested that techy stuff is on the other thread...perhaps if something is posted over there...in detail....wanting help, a single line on here saying "help on tech has been requested, means that the more helpful, will go and try and help
**** Perhaps some-one would like to start a thread similar to the tech one for "not very related coupon bits and bobs "or something, and the friendly folk, could keep that open as an extra browser tab...that way if anyone knows they are going off on a tangent, they could expect replies over there. (I don't know how it could work without some-one asking for a post to be moved, then being accused of being the "thread police" and so on...but if it's going to work as a foum, collectively, the contributors on here, need to decide, how it is going to work, so we don;t get factions starting up and (more;)) back-stabbing.
I must admit to being very capable of non-coupon-posting posts, but with only 45 odd "non-useful" posts out of the amount I've posted...I don't think it's a bad average:confused:, but after the polite request, I am trying to curb things a "weeeeee" bit.

So can I now politely request that we all "set our stall out" and say what we would like, and then in a day or two, just do it....but bear in mind that having a swipe at some-one else, for minor transgressions would be better off ALSO done off forum.

It's like a micro-cosm of society, there is NO WAY we are all going to agree with each other....but it doesn't mean having to be rude or uncivil...(unless they start it of course!:rotfl:).

Let's get back to having a nice happy playground, do your fighting behind the bike sheds (or by PM;))

Finally, I don't require anyone to tell me this was a long post to wade threw. I type slowly, and I got logged off before completing it!!:rotfl:I know it was a long post!

Pleeeaaase can we start a "coupon chat thread" and seperate out the "coupon only (no chat)" links. I know we are reverting back (and I am aware of the history of this) - but this isn't working is it?:confused::o

What I've been doing is getting loads of rinsaid with the £3 mocs on and keeping all the £3 mocs on one side to use when the finish has ended.:D I have a car full of over 50 bottles of rinsaid and still adding (and no dishwasher :rotfl:);)
I never stockpile high-value MOCs these days - too much chance of Mr T blocking them later on. (though unlikely with the Rinsaid as it's not a printed coupon, but still not worth the risk imo)

No...when people find posts and just multi-quote to take up space......
But well done you've "set our stall out" as asked...
However, if you read a wee bit further on you would have also seen that there is another thread setup to try and save the banter from those that only want coupons....
But if folk carry on putting frowny faces in their titles and saying it isn't working, without doing anything to try and fix it....then you're quite right....it won't work.

Obviously I've spent too much typespace on it already, so please PM me when you've got it sorted...........icon9.gificon9.gificon9.gif

    Good morning everyone :)

Thanks for the replies re coupons ending soon. I noticed that the Rinse Aid had gone up to £3.50 too but I use lots (and I mean lots) of it so although it costs £1.50 after £2 coupon (mega cheap for me) you are getting £3.00 in MOCS back so a nice profit of £1.50 (more if you use MOCS to pay the £1.50 balance)

Edit and the free Quantum tablet too an extra bonus :)

    Hope this makes sense!!!
