Sorry SandDancer....I didn't mean to cause offence...I was trying to note that I was the one that pointed out to one-and-all that KG was a member on here.
I then later realised that I may, inadvertently, be setting a lynch party, and thought I would balance the argument.
For me, its a case of keeping the coupon policy, that I like and know, to remain in its current format in the local shops that I use.
If folk abuse it nationally or locally, that can affect me and my lifestyle.
I prefer to try and educate people, by letting them see both sides of the argument, so they can make up their own minds and to keep things fair.
But to answer your question, at the end of the day I think we all like a bit of gratitude, when we have done something well...wouldn't you agree?

No offence taken ( i thought the reason for your ebay advert was aimed at kippy ) ,and yes i agree :A

Yep...I guess that definitely was the catalyst.
Then I thought of the bigger picture...and how much damage those legitimate coupons going into the system would be.....
I see her/his actions as a leap apart from some of the forgeries that have been put on ebay and therefore put through the supermarkets.
If folk want to buy them, so be it...if folk want to get guided here and get them for free, and be guided on fair usage, and help maintain the coupon policy status quo...then that is definitely worth 25p for a 10 day listing to me.
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

    Hi Guys
With respect and in appreciation to Honey and all her hard work, might I make a suggestion? (Blimey, sounds a bit formal, you can tell I'm at the office!). How about when somebody posts a new MOC or info which requires amendment to top page, they type in a nice blue which stands out a mile.
If there is general agreement that this is a good idea and that's what we start to do there will, no doubt, be people who don't do it in which case those in the know could post a thanks to the original useful post, quoting the post number and typing in blue.
If you think it's a rubbish idea, I'll cry.
    xx

    Thanks Hillybilly

This sounds like a great idea (if people follow it, that is!).

Thank you to everyone who has agreed with me (both openly in this thread and by PM). It's nice to know that I'm not just being a grump - and that other people had been thinking that the chat had been getting a weeeee bit too much and too random. LOL! :D

Thanks Sandancer....They appear to be blocking it with couponnet software on your PC...otherwise dynamic IPs would get through all the time still..... which is why the fix was posted here yesterday.
They have the facilities to limit numbers for individual coupons by IP or by domain, if you read the details on their site, aimed at the mannufacturer/supplier.
Of course Warburton's are taking it seriously...they paid couponnet for a secure system for distributing coupons...and they didn't get it
Of course couponnet are taking it seriously.... right on the back of the Fruitshoot embarrassment...they must be questionning their whole IT staffing and infrastructure
They (couponnet) won't refuse to redeem coupons (IMHO;)) - (warburtons will refuse to pay couponnet...but that's because couponnet didn't provide the service expected!) because otherwise supermarkets will, in future, refuse to accept them and then they have no outlet for their products, so no suppliers/manufacturers will waste their money on marketing through them.
If your account wasn't "flagged" before...it certainly will be now!
Printing 600 by someone is a bit silly:eek:, when they can print them daily anyway:confused:

Thanks for the update....let's wait and see what happens next.

I have been reading all of this with great interest and as mentioned did not dare print any warbys because of the trouble so many of you were having and as I can only use 5 coupons a week anyway I had no use for the warbys but I am left wondering if the britvic fiasco has opened a can of worms here as to send the complimentary coupons you will have had to provide your name and address so can possibly be traced by couponstar - also if the IP provider were asked to provide names and addresses would/could they do so to stop coupon abuse/prosecute people who they felt were abusers:confused:
I am rather worried for some of you:eek:because if they would go to the trouble of messing up your computers it looks as if they mean business or will that be the extent of their actions do you think:eek:

I am not worried about couponstar trying to prosecute or anything (I only did 40) cos if they even tried anything I would counter sue them for allowing my details to be posted all over the internt. This I think is more serious than printing off a few poxy 30p coupons
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Tried to stick to coupon related, but have got quite mad , so had to post, but promise will keep it down in the future. Only 9 people have thanked VC on the technical thread for the help and I bet more than 9 people have used his info. VC and couponwomans son spent hours yesterday trying to help us all and thanks is the least we can do.

but he has helped me in the past and I felt that to give so much time up on any day let alone Fathers Day he should be thanked for being so nice :beer:and I can't understand how anyone who did need his help could not take the time to click a button:mad:
and to justify my post can anyone please tell me if all T's are taking Farmfoods now - if anyone has been refused please advise or if anyone in Notts/Derbys has had any success please advise or pm

You are quite right Lori...but we only chat because we care:A
Would it also help if one of the chatters :o edits in blue on one of the early posts of the day, (or the previous night).....skip past everything to post #***** if you are only after coupons.

BlueWkd....I think we can pull you out of hibernation for that one, if you would be willing:beer:

HI ALL , i have just had the phonecall ive been waiting for from couponstar about the problems with couponnet . and i now know what the problem is :( everyone who is having trouble has defo been banned from the site , warburtons have reported mass coupon abuse to couponent and forwarded IP addys and also emails to them of the people who have/are abusing it , i told him i only printed about 20 ish coupons , he says my account has been flagged by warburtons , he says some people have actually printed close to 600 coupons:naughty: .
so they have blocked IP's and also email addys , warburtons are taking this really seriously and so are couponnet , so be warned people you are being watched , every email and ip is being scrutinised and passed onto couponnet if they think it is abuse , he also mentioned the totally stupid names people have been using ( i think they might end up refusing to pay for coupons with daft names )

    From Warby's T&C's

    • Two entries per valid email address per day via the website, or two entries per person per day via phone are permitted.
This is where the problem lies IMHO - AFAIK A valid email address is one where the mail actually gets delivered, using that condition anybody can have unlimited email addresses quite easily even if the mail only resides in that Inbox for an hour it is still technically valid isn't it:confused:

They should have written in the T&C's (Am I the only sado that actually reads 'em?) Two entries per person or even household then I can see why they have been banning IP's but not blanket banning

Another point of confusion for me at least is the per day bit.....Is the clock reset at midnight (If so who's midnight?)or is it a 24 hour period?? I think I have been blocked at home (Only had about 30 btw) was OK Friday night but on Saturday said usage limit etc (Me not codes) I kept trying throughout the day in case it was a 24 hour time period (Or US timezone) which could have lead to further 'abuse' - I didn't bother yesterday so will see tonight if still blocked, thankfully work is OK...

Point to remember from this stop using M.Mouse as name (Not me btw) and always use an email addy that can technically be delivered!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

I wondered how long it would be before they realised that there software had a major glitch and I did take advantage, but not by printing of hundreds. In fact, i printed about 30 ish and gave half to my mum to use and wasn't planning on printing any more until they had been used up. They should have set it up like couponnet - that would have stopped the problem. I will use the coupons I have got and hopefully I will not have my IP add blocked - half I did at work anyhow.

In ref to the Tena lady coupon - it says page cannot be displayed when I click the link
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
